Midnight Purple 3DS releasing on May 20 with Mario Tennis Open. Nearly two years after Nintendo teased gamers with a purple 3DS display system (and a gold version, too!) at E3, the company is releasing it to stores.
It will retail for the usual price of $169.99, and will appear at stores on the same day Mario Tennis Open hits (a Sunday). This is the fifth color we’ll receive in the States, after Cosmo Black, Aqua Blue, Flame Red, and Pearl Pink — we’re still waiting on the Ice White edition that’s been on shelves in Europe and Japan for months now.

Though we didn’t get Fatal Frame 4 in the States, the latest game from the horror series’ team at Tecmo Koei, Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir, will release here on April 13th — Friday the 13th, naturally.
