Anonymous asked: I would like a new pair of black winter boots. Preferably under 70 bucks or so. Nothing too Ugg-ish. Can you help me?

Of course I can boot-needing-anon!  One of my biggest weaknesses is boots.  I have 4 pairs in rotation right now, but I still shop for them pretty much ALL THE TIME!  So here are some suggestions for you!

Tundra Boots - Courtney These are waterproof and have a textile lining to keep your feet warm and they are only $54.  Awesome bonus - they look great (unlike Uggs which kinda say “I gave up”)

Madden Girl - Zorrba These boots are totally gorgeous. AND they are flannel lined!  AND you can fold them down as it warms up, which is totally on trend.  They are $69.95, and my experience with this brand shoe is that they are quite comfy and well made.

Cobian - Trystyn These are my favorites.  They have a padded, faux sherling lining which is sure to keep you toasty.  They also fold down.  They just look great.  They are $65.

Khombu - Upland 2 If you are looking for a more traditional winter boot, these are perfect.  Warm, waterproof, ready for some romping in the snow.  They are just above your budget at $74.99 but if your toes are dying for some dry time in the arctic, maybe the $5 is worth it.
